Weil am Rhein and Basel

Posted by dennis on 06 maj 2010 / 5 Comments

So, after a few days without Internet access I am back online and can finally post some pictures from my trip to Switzerland.
We have had alot of fun so far and have been meeting alot of collectors and friends and also managed to buy some amazing things for the collection.

But lets take it from the start.
First night we spent at a cheap Motorway Hotel in southern Germany close to the Swiss border.
Niklas is doing a full burnout out of the parking, I wonder if ”forgot” to pay for the hotel?

So, finally on the road again and getting closer.

Basel here we come!

But before going into Switzerland we took of at Weil am Rhein to go and check out the Vitra Design museum.
This is a vue of their new building from the road.

Vitras new building

This building houses all their current production items and has a very interesting architecture.

Niklas is on his way down to the Panton section!

Well, I can not leave you without posting any pictures of something Panton so I will give you a sneak prewiev of what to come, enjoy!

Original 3D carpet!

Hello there,

I am a big fan of Verner Panton.
You have lots of amazing things…
You mentioned you would sell some panels.
What are you selling them for?

Thank you for your time.

    Hi Melissa.

Thank you for the nice comments!
At the moment I do not have any panels left for sale, sorry about that.
